about my photography

I am not limiting myself to theories, so I never question the rightness to my approach. If I am interested, amazed, stimulated to work, that is sufficient reason to thank the Gods, and go ahead! Dare to be irrational! - keep free from formulas, open to any fresh impulse, fluid¹

Words of Edward Weston express my idea of photography extremely well. On one hand the need to find my own, individual, recognisable style, and on the other a constant search. In harsh walls, industrial plants and in remnants of factories I have discovered the same aesthetics I find in myself - the beauty is determined not only by the visual but also, and foremost, by feelings.

The sense of line, space, and point, which allows "weighing" the picture, at the same time adding to its balance, but also to its inner vibration, which makes the recipient's eye stop in front of the picture to respond to its frequency.²

commercial work

Many years of experience combined with photographical education enable me to tackle a variety of projects ranging from promotional, through products to interiors photography.

Wedding and events photography is yet another matter. This combines reportage with portrait, studio with outdoors, and gives yet one more opportunity to convey one's point of view.

I use both medium and 35mm film and also work with digital cameras. The knowledge of darkroom methods allowed me to understand the creation process better and taught me how to consciously arrange my photographs by the appropriate use of light and choice of composition.
